Latosha Brown is Black History, Now!

By Camisha Etheredge February 9, 2024

Are there words that can describe the efforts of Community Activist/Philanthropist and Jazz Singer Latosha Brown?

If you don't know her, maybe you've been living under a bus!

An Atlanta resident; she is the co-Founder of Black Voters Matter, which encourages equal rights for all voters and is the fuel behind the blackest bus in America! She has been featured as a Political Strategist and Award-Winning National Organizer, Contributor for MSNBC, The New York Times, and More. Latosha Brown is an Advocate for Democracy, Civic Engagement, Philanthropy, and Women's Empowerment. She is also Founder, and Co-Anchor of the Southern Black Girls & Women's Consortium, a $100M,10-year initiative to invest in organizations that serve Black women and girls.

Even more impressive is the resilience she has shown beyond the tragedy of losing her mother and most recently her son, Keambiroiro “Keambi” Rashidi Lane.  We honor you, Latosha Brown for your selfless efforts and commitment to changing our communities across the United States and leaving a global footprint for years to come!

What's next for Latosha? She's not done yet! Look out, this bus is showing no signs of stopping!  When she is not advocating, she can be found sharing beautiful memories of her past and new memories she is creating with her beautiful grandchildren!
